A bee bee problem

Yesterday was……….. a new experience for me. So it started of pretty normal, as usual I’m staggering under loads of homework (all of them tagged ‘important!’ ‘urgent!’ ‘due!’) ><. Anyway, it was exactly 9 pm last night and I was spread out on my bed finishing up my work and TRYING not to dose off when a bee suddenly landed on my slipper. ok, no big deal. I swatted it and when out to get the brrom and dustpan to sweep it away. When I came back, my room was buzzing with 3 / 4 bees. Er…. not good. I slammed the windows shut and called my other housemates to check their rooms. Haha… Theirs were as bad as mine. I started swatting them with the newspaper and they were using their pesticide like a water gun. My god, the bees just kept coming. Apparently my housemates OPENED their window in hopes that the bees will fly out. Er…. didn’t they learn in chemistry that stuff will diffuse following the concentration gradient??? Lol. Anyway, we shut the windows and soncentrated on the job at hand — exterminating the bees. :P Took us around 45 mins to kill them all. The air in our room was practically saturated with insecticide. yuck. Even then, we still keep having one or two stray ones flying around the room. Then we realised that the bees were actually forcing themselves into the room from the miniscule slits and cracks on the windowsill. Ack. We had to stuff newspapers into the cracks and sprayed them with insecticide again.

I hope this is the last. No way. Not in a million years. Luckily the bees were like a lil drowsy, we later realised it was due to the fire outside.
