I stumbled upon this site accidentaly. I have to say it looks very interesting. not the site. It’s the new blogging tool that it offers. So much more simple and easier to use compared to what I’m using now (wordpress). If I still had my own domain, I would have tried it out immediately. But it’s still new…. not as developed as wordpress yet, give it some more time and I think it’ll be all over the internet. At the moment, wordpress is still THE blogging tool.

Holidays over….

There wasn’t much that I had managed to do… really, it’s too tempting. Studying with my bed just in the next room. :P I think I spent most of my time sleeping, eating, watching DVDs and reading storybooks. How did I get my hands on any storybooks. It’s the evil of internet and book piracy. :S Ok, so some were legal but…… anyway, holidays are now officially OVER. This last few hours DO NOT COUNT but I’m still left with the same amount of homework as I had 7 days ago (’omg, what have she been doing?’ you say). I never never learn. *shakes head*.

Went ice skating at Sunway on Friday. (Yes! finally I found some people to go with me!!!!) I was soooo excited. I love skating. Went with Siaw Tze, Siew Ting, and Christine. Let me tell you, the rink was PACKED. When we reached, the queue was all the way to the stairs and they weren’t selling anymore tickets cos there weren’t anymore skates available. I was so afraid that I had gone all the way there for nothing. Luckily we managed to get in at last. It was fun, and although it was the first time for my friends, they managed to get the hang of it pretty fast.

We spent a couple of hours there. I had a blast. I really wished I could go more often. It’s just too bad that I didn’t go last year….

Have to go back to my books. >.<

Inspirational

hmm…. I’m supposed to be attempting the first draft for my chemistry social relevance task project. It’s basically a project where we write about something related to chemistry and the society. I decided to report about glass. I am regretting it now because apparently it isn’t as easy as I think it would be. So while my roomates (who have the sense to do easier topics like greenhouse effect, ozone depletion etc) are happily collecting their information and writting their first drafts, I’m struggling with my outline, trying to keep it to a minimal so as not to exceed the word limit. >.< I found this website while reading some older posts from another blog (here). It has plenty of really inspirational stuff. Some of these people had all the odds against them and they still managed to pull through. It reminded me that I’m actually having a pretty easy life and if I don’t appreciate it, then I’m throwing away all this wonderful oppotunities that are given to me. I’ve always wondered what would happen to me in the future and sometimes, I don’t dare to change things much in case everything goes wrong and I won’t be able to pick up where I went wrong…… but then I would be asking myself whether things would have been better if I had done this or that……

I need to think.

Yes! Yesterday was friendship day at my college. I’d have to say it was the most successful event that SAMSA has organised since last year. The AUSMAT Idol and sports activities were all fun but I don’t think that the students were as excited about those as they were about FD. It was a week long thing with every student being involved with the master mosquito game. Sort of like secret santa / guardian angel for those of you who had played it before. Except that in this case, the mosquitoes will have to guess who their masters are. The masters will leave clues and tips for the mosquitoes to work on. It was fun, and if you can’t figure out your master before FD or your mosquito finds you out, you’ll have to treat them. lol. Too bad I won’t be around next year to experience it again.

missing my friends

I’m right now browsing through my ex - classmates’ friendster profile using my roommates account. (I don’t have a friendster account) Looking at these pictures suddenly brought back all those memories of my life as a secondary student…… I realised that I’ve missed them alot. Haven’t met them since we got out SPM results. All of us just went separate ways and ………. Wish I can see them again.
