6 more hours before my flight to Adelaide. I am currently stuck in Changi with nothing except a magazine, shops, food to keep me occupied. =P haha…

On the other hand, I have explored www.wordpress.com, checked out it’s features and I must say it has a rather impressive service. I cannot abide blogger.com (I am sorry but I have also tried it recently and it is still too drab for me). The reason I host this blog at blogsome is because it uses the Wordpress platform which is very convenient for someone who was a b2 user. But right now, wordpress has upgraded its features and it is very user friendly right now. Gone were the days when the codes defeated normal people like me, now there is a simple drag and drop feature. There is also a 3GB upload limit, rather generous but still not enough for these heavy image posters (read: camwhoring) but perfectly adequate for others nonetheless. It also has lots of aesthetic layouts to choose from, with certain ones allowing colour / header image customization. Although Blogger allow full CSS editing, the templates on hand are much less exciting to look at. So I will choose Wordpress over Blogger. (NB: I still want to know how blogger users deal with storage space overload)

Another blogging tool which I would love to try out is Typepad. It is very similar to Wordpress in terms of the interface for posting and managing a blog. However, Typepad still does not offer free blog hosting services so I can only hope. =P

A new header, just in time before I leave. Photo of derelict door from MorgueFile, effects done in Photoshop. Dry brush effect and also making the colours a bit more vibrant. The original one looked pretty drab after that. I think it is about time I took down the last one. Way overdue. =) This was originally for another blog that I was thinking of setting up. BUt when I checked out wordpress.com they do not allow CSS editing. Not in their free service anyway, so I decided to put it here.

One question, how much upload space does Blogger give?? Where do people store their pictures if they have exceeded their quota then??

Happy Chinese New Year to all. My family reunion has been wonderful. Got to meet my cousins who are growing up at a crazy speed. I think I like them better when they were a cuddly bundle of happiness but oh well. =)

Sweeney Todd was amazingly gory and painful.

My holiday craft projects are coming to a standstill. I have basically finished updating my scrapbook ( years behind time) and right now I should start concentrating on packing my stuff to bring over. I’ve seem to have bought tons of clothes and I will have trouble, not fitting them into my luggage, but turning the 20kg load into a 15kg load so that those air-asia people cannot charge me some ridiculously overpriced fee for extra baggage. Hmph!

Most of my friends will be going back to Australia next week =). For me, I am only going back on the 26th. Must do lots of things when I get back (Fringe, picnic, med camp, etc etc….). I am a little reluctant to leave my home and family right now but I am also eager to start my new semester at uni. I have told myself at the start of the summer hols that I should do a little revision during the hols (since exams was a fright) but I have not kept that promise to myself and now it is a tad too late for it.

Ooh… and Nike Love. Must find out what is that.

I made some more stuff, magnets. Will post pictures of them up soon. =)
