I may be back in Adelaide but I still haven’t gotten used to all the early mornings and dry hot weather. =P

I had so many things to blog about, but my mind is now a complete blank and I am wracking my brain to come up with something. Hence all this one liners.

I’m glad I went down to Orchard Road during my stopover in Singapore. The shopping malls were nice to walk in and window displays lovely. More interesting are the frenzy these locals are in buying stuff. There seem to be a tendecy for people to flock around the expensive and branded shops while the more reasonably priced ones were being left alone. (or am I missing something)

Singapore now is tax free when you shop during the weekends so you get to save 7%. =) (right?)

Oh, trip to Taiwan was an eye -opener. I have finally managed to upload some pictures on facebook after innumerable failed attempts (perseverance pays).

I bought Temeraire for RM10 =D Happy person now. I think I’ve read that book at least 4 times so I know I’ll definitely read it again.

Frankenstein is quite an interesting read as well. Cleared up some of the common misconceptions that I have harboured all these while.

I bought a pair of Oxfords!!! I haven’t worn them yet (maybe today). The excitement is due to the fact that I got it for $35 at Charles and Keith while I was rushing back to Changi Airport (imagine!!!). They were having a massive sale with up to 70% discount. Some lady in front of me bought an absolute tower of shoes. Not stack. Tower. As in add a few more boxes and you hit the ceiling tower. I think I was bit by the buying frenzy after only a few hours in Singapore. Shame. Bad. I actually did not have enough for both the shoes and my train ride back so thank goodness for plastics =P

I’ve only been back in Adelaide for 2/3 days and already my days weekends are packed. =P What with Fringe, Oweek, catch-up, lectures, med events and what-nots, I need a breather. Spent an hour filling up my planner yesterday night. And this is only Oweek!!!! I hope things cool down after March.

Oweek is so fun when you get freebies. =) I’m sure I’ve collected enough bags to last me 3 lifetimes. Ok I exaggerate. I just think I now have to many bags. =P

I’ve spent 45 minutes writing this. Is it a waste of time?? I dearly hope not or else I shall have to put it on hiatus like so many people seem to be doing =(
