When one is confronted with mind-blowing sets, dazzling costumes and superb performances by the whole cast. What more can one ask for? I came as close as I could to my first experience of a proper broadway production in Phantom of the Opera a few weeks back. We were lucky and got seat near the front and centre (the seating arrangements at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre is appalling). I never knew of set props being positioned beyond the vicinity of the stage but omg, when they lifted the chandelier and it came gliding out to hang above us, I almost swooned from over excitement. =P And when it came crashing down again later in one scene. Speechless.
I wish I can go to West End!!!! I mean with tickets for 15 - 20 pounds per show, how good is that???
